ANDREWS, TEXAS - February 22, 2007

The Andrews Economic Development Corporation announced today that Composites One (CompOne) will break ground in the Andrews Business Park South on Monday, February 26 at 4:00 p.m. Representatives from the new company and from the city will be on-hand for the ceremony.   Composites One is one of the premier North American distributor of fiberglass and advanced composite materials from thermoset resins, glass, carbon and aramid reinforcements to fillers and all accessories... they offer the widest selection of materials in the industry.  Their technical expertise includes over 1000 years of combined experience.   The new facility will be the first one built in the new business park in Andrews and will be approximately 20,000 square feet.  It will employ three full-time positions including a warehouse manager, warehouseman and a driver.   “We are very pleased to welcome CompOne to Andrews,” said Andrews Economic Development Corporation Director, Wesley Burnett.  “As the first company in our business park, we were excited to be able to offer an incentive package that allowed them to located here.”   The construction of the CompOne building should be complete in the fall of this year with a grand opening scheduled for October, 2007.
